Here are the most frequently asked questions about the Georgia Natural Gas (GNG) – Gives Back program. However, there may be something else you need to know. Not to worry! Go to "Contact Us" to ask additional questions.

Q. How does the Gives Back program Work?
A. For each GNG customer who enrolls at gnggivesback.com and selects a participating college, GNG will donate $5 for each month the program participant is an active GNG customer in good standing – up to $60 per year. New customers or switching customers are eligible to receive up to a 15¢ per-therm discount.
Q. How do participants from my college sign up for the Gives Back program?
A. First go to www.gnggivesback.com and follow the 3 simple steps in the blue box.

New Customers – After filling out the information on the Gives Back website you will be prompted to go to our secure online site to complete registration or call 1.866.ONLYGNG.

Existing Customers – After filling out the information on the Gives Back website you are enrolled in the program.
Q. Is the monthly donation going to the college being added to a participant's gas bill? Will their rates be raised to pay for the donations?
A. The monthly donation of $5/month is not added to your gas bill. In fact, it doesn't cost you anything to sign up for the Gives Back program. GNG's rates will not be raised to pay for this program or donations. We're proud to offer competitive fixed and variable price plans and the expertise to help you make an informed choice about which plan is right for you.
Q. Are there any restrictions for the Gives Back Program?
A. The program is open to all residential and commercial natural gas users located in the GNG service area. In addition, Gives Back program is open to both existing GNG customers and customers not currently with GNG. Anyone not currently using GNG as their gas provider can easily make the switch and start earning money for your college.

Participants must live in the GNG service area in order to designate a college to receive donations. However, participation is not limited by area – anyone within the GNG footprint can sign up and designate a college to receive donations including friends, relatives, grandparents, etc., that may live in another area of the state serviced by GNG.

As long as a customer is active and current with his or her natural gas account, GNG will continue to make donations to your college.

Q. Is the Gives Back program only for current Georgia Natural Gas® customers?
A. No. The Gives Back program is open to all residential and commercial natural gas users, both loyal customers, and new customers who make the switch to Georgia Natural Gas.
Q. What if a participant is in a contract with another gas provider? Will Georgia Natural Gas charge them money to switch?
A. If a participant is currently with another gas provider that's okay! They can switch to GNG and no fee will be charged for switching. There is also no need for them to contact their current gas provider. They can follow the simple steps on gnggivesback.com home page. Or call 1-866-ONLYGNG.
Q. Is there any limit as to how much money my college can receive?
A. There is no limit as to the amount of money your college can receive.
Q. How do I cancel my participation with the Gives Back program?
A. Send an email to support@gnggivesback.com with your name and GNG account number.
